Covid-19 vaccination clinic on campus

Come and get advice and information about Covid-19 vaccinations and testing during Welcome week

6th September 2021

** Wednesday 29 September - Please note that the pop-up vaccination centre has now closed. You can find your nearest walk-in vaccination centre here and Covid-19 tests can be picked up from the Spark reception **

During Welcome week and the first week of teaching, St Mary’s GP Surgery will be holding a pop-up Covid-19 vaccination and advice centre on campus.

Vaccination is the most important defence against Covid-19. This small simple action will save lives, reduce risks, and help ensure you enjoy the full vibrancy and creativity of our university.

Nurses will be offering advice about Covid-19 vaccinations and Covid-19 testing. They will also be administering Covid-19 vaccinations (1st or 2nd dose) for students and staff who are not yet vaccinated.

Also, if you’re a student new to the area, you’ll be able to register with a GP from St Mary’s Surgery, which is vital for while you are staying in Southampton.

The pop-up practice will be based in JME G08, (JM East - ground floor of the old SU building), from Friday 17 September until Friday 1 October 2021, and will be open weekdays 10am-4pm.

We are strongly encouraging all staff and students to be double vaccinated at the earliest opportunity, unless you are advised by your medical practitioner not to do so. Remember – you need to get both doses to ensure you are fully protected.
