Students' Union officers for 2021/22

The 2021/22 Sabbatical Officer line-up for Solent Students’ Union has now been confirmed, with the return of some familiar faces for a second term and some new faces ready to make their mark at the SU.

SU President, Vaios Koukouletsos, returns for a second year heading up the SU alongside Head of Student Wellbeing, Teodor Mitsev, also returning for a second term. Joining them are 2020/21 EU Officer, Stefania David, as Head of Student Education and 2019-21 Radio Sonar Station Manager, Danny Humby, as Head of Student Engagement.

Also elected in Solent Decides 2021 were the new part-time Student Officers who work for the SU on a voluntary basis to represent their fellow students. The Student Officers for 2021/22 are as follows:

• EU Officer - Adam Amzhad Al Barguti
• Events Officer - Alessia Perrin
• Mature Officer - Leigh Wilson
• Mental Health Officer - Lauren Bartlett
• Non-EU Officer - Meghavi Mayankbhai Lodha
• Part-time Officer - Xhesika Habilaj
• Trans+ Officer - Aoife Pendry
• Undergraduate Officer - Sean Brazenall
• Widening Participation Officer - Ro Tomlin-Wills
• Women’s Officer - Anamika Vyas

The remaining vacant Student Officer roles will be up for bye-election in October 2021. You can see a full list of the elected officers and vacant positions on the SU's website.

We can’t wait to welcome all our officers to their new roles and to see what they have up their sleeves! The new Officers will take office at the end of July 2021.
