Technology bursary for 2020/21
We've launched a Technology Bursary for students
The University is keen to help students who need financial support to buy IT equipment (laptops and tablets) so you can access your learning. We have therefore launched a Technology Bursary to students whose household income is less than £25,000 and whose home address is in POLAR 4 Q1.
You can check whether you are eligible by putting your postcode into the checker on this link provided by the Office for Students. Students who are eligible will receive a £400 voucher to purchase IT equipment. Applications open on Wednesday 16 September and close on Friday 9 October 2020.
If you are not eligible, but you are struggling to get access to IT, please email student.funding@solent.ac.uk and we will review your case to see if there are any other funds or grants available to help you.
If you are in Southampton, laptops are available to borrow from the library and you can book to use the library IT on this link.
