You can view your individual exam timetable on the timetabling app. The individual exam timetable shows the day, time and location of the exams you are due to take.
Students eligible for additional exam support (eg, extra time, scribes, etc) will be contacted directly by the assessments team with details of your exams schedule.
SOL enables you to access your course materials, participate in forums with your lecturers and peers and submit assessments online. There's also a whole host of other study support tools, including writing assignments, critical thinking and dissertations.

You can access the timetable app either by using the full desktop version, or via an iCal feed, so you can download your individual timetable to the calendar on your mobile device.

You must obtain ethical clearance before any research project or enterprise activity can commence and potential human participants can be approached.
The ethics app asks you a series of questions relating to your project. You should have completed the research ethics training on SOL in advance of filling in the ethics form.
You can also view a list of ethics forms you have completed and edit them as appropriate.
Here, you can book on to your graduation, as long as you are eligible to do so. If you have outstanding debt owing to the University, you will not be able to book your place.
As part of the online booking system, you'll be required to update your mailing address and your email address. This will ensure all correspondence is sent to the correct address - this includes your graduation e-ticket, certificate and European Diploma Supplement.
If you do not wish to attend graduation, you'll still need to let us know using the app.

All students are provided with a OneDrive account to store work files - this can be accessed from the University, or remotely. OneDrive has 1TB capacity. If you have files that are incompatible with OneDrive, you can create a zip file and save this instead.
If you have a maintenance problem in your room or in your communal area, you can report it online. Log in with your University login name and password
When using the app, you can scan a QR code (located in rooms) to report a fault, look at progress on incidents you have reported and give feedback on the work done.
Once you have submitted a fault you'll be sent an email confirmation and the fault will be logged with the maintenance team. Items are given priority in the order of urgency, ie, somebody with no hot water is given preference over somebody whose lamp has blown a bulb.
By reporting your maintenance fault you are giving authorisation for the maintenance officer to enter your room and fix the defect. You will receive email confirmation when the work has been completed and maintenance team have closed the job off on the system.
The VTS schedules and pay claims app provides employees on variable hours contracts with online access to view their work schedules and view and submit pay claims.

You can only go on placement once it shows approved status in the app.
