Contact the accommodation team for queries relating to halls of residence, or support with finding accommodation in the private sector. The team can also provide advice if you are experiencing issues with your landlord or agency.

The team are responsible for organising the graduation and passing out ceremonies, as well as issuing certificates and awards.

You can pay tuition, accommodation and other fees online.

If you wish to discuss or set up a payment plan, or you have had sanctions applied to your account, please contact the income team.

Library
The library provides resources, services and expertise to support the Solent students and staff in learning, research and teaching. The team can help you to make the best use of the library and its resources and services – you’ll find an information librarian for each School who is an expert on the resources available for the subjects within your School.

Learning technologies
The library offers a range of personal computers, software, scanners and printers which can be used by all students. The helpdesk can assist with any problems or queries you might have when using the computing facilities.

Media production loans
The team offers specialist media support and facilities for students and staff, including a wide range of professional-level HD/4K video cameras, analogue and digital photographic kit, lighting, and audio equipment. 

Solent Careers offers support and guidance for students to help you achieve your chosen career. Contact the team for advice on graduate jobs, finding work while studying, placements, business start-ups and CV checks.

The Student Hub is your first point of contact for academic and support queries. We offer consultations in private rooms for students who prefer not to speak to an adviser in public.

The student mobility team is part of the International Office in External Relations. The team manage funding available to all Solent students wishing to spend some time abroad (four weeks minimum and up to 12 months) studying (as part of their course), working, or volunteering (during study or up to a year after graduation).

Student Visa or Tier 4 visa students should contact the UKVI Compliance team directly if they wish to request a short period of authorised absence, or if you have been contacted.
