Would you like to change the world?
On Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 November, Solent University students will be challenged to come up with ideas and innovations to help save our planet.
You will spend 2 days working with other students across from across the University to develop ambitious solutions in response to an exciting, real-world, challenge that will be set for you by NatWest, who will be co-hosting this great event with us.
Day 1
10-10.30am: Welcome, introductions, team sorting and problem statement reveal
10.30-10.45am: First team catch-up
10.45am-12.15pm: Creative problem solving
12.15-12.30pm: Break
12.30-2pm: Rapid prototyping / design sprint session
2-2.30pm: Break
2.30-4pm: An intro to business modelling and customer profiling
4-5pm: Catch-up over coffee
Day 2
10-10.30am: Recap, refresh, decompress
10.30am-12 noon: Growth planning
12-12.30pm: Break
12.30-1.30pm: Writing a great 60-second pitch
1.30-3pm: Break
3-4: Pitch rehearsal
4-5pm: Pitching final (Pitch judges will be the same as the panellists from the night before)
5-5.15pm: Conclusion / wrap-up
Prizes
Students in the winning team will all receive a £50 Boobalou voucher. Plus, a tree will be planted in your name through the National Forest scheme.
