Introducing Doomood: Your Next Favourite Postpunk, New Wave, Alternative Artist!

James, an aspiring new artist from Portsmouth, producing and writing Post-Punk, New Wave and Alternative music is proceeding to take his music a step further with the upcoming release of his second album.

When asked what messages James wants to give to his audience, he said,

“Don’t live in the past, don’t worry about the future, live in the now.”

He has recently released his debut album which contains 8 tracks, including hits such as ‘You Don’t Love Me Anymore’ and ‘Round In Circles’, James also attempts to constantly stay on the radar by releasing a new single every 6-8 weeks.

His second album is set to reflect the tones created in his debut album which was inspired by artists such as The Cure, Joy Division, and New Order, but explores James’ experiences as a new, emerging artist and delves into the struggles which he has encountered when it comes to popularity of his music and not yet finding a loyal fanbase.

This album differs from his previous debut album and other singles/ EPs he has released in his career because it is a much more authentic representation of what it is like as a new artist, and he visits much more sensitive topics that he may not have been comfortable enough to expose in his debut album.
