NEW music to cry to

Abigail Bignell is a 20-year-old singer songwriter, based in Southampton, Hampshire, and is at the beginnings of her musical journey. As of now she has released 3 songs out on Spotify titled, Living in a dream, little car and the most recent offering Ghost Town.

Abigail is also in a band called Mega Sun Machine where they make soft rock and indie rock music, as she serves as a backup vocalist and pianist/keyboardist with 3 songs titled Stella Cinderella, Now and Then and Lightheaded.

Abigail’s songwriting approach stems from being free and willing to write about anything that comes into her mind, right on the spot, an emotive writer who channels her emotions on her songs whether that is anger, love, fear or sorrow and more, she channels her emotion and mood into creating alternative and indie pop records with strong, powerful and ethereal vocals.

Her first two songs living in a dream and little car were entirely sung, written, produced and composed by Abigail herself.

Abigail’s biggest influence and favourite artist is Lana Del Rey her influences of soft and ethereal vocals with a tinge of power and emotion can be seen in Abigail’s music and most recently on her latest release titled “Ghost Town” Lana Del Rey’s influence is evident in Abigail’s music, because it uses traditional instrumentation and echoey vocal production and most important carefree attitude.
