Everyone is welcome to join us for Solent's next Menopause Café!

Solent's next Menopause café will be held on Monday 24 February, 13:00 - 14:00 in the Dock. As part of The Brit Challenge, this is part of a series of events focussing on wellbeing. One of our nursing team will attend to give woman wellness tips as well as answer questions around general woman health, perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.

You don't need to sign up in order to attend, but if you do sign up we will send you a calendar invitation and it helps us order teas and coffees.

Join the Menopause Café Teams Channel!

If you have any questions about the Menopause Café, please contact developingpeople@solent.ac.uk.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Menopause Cafe’s aim to talk about menopause in a new way, to break down taboos, and increase awareness of the impact of the menopause on those experiencing it, their family, friends and their colleagues.

Our Menopause Café is offered:

• In an accessible, respectful and confidential space

• Open for all, regardless of gender or age

• With no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action

• On a not for profit basis

“The Menopause Café is for everyone who wants to talk about the menopause. Unfortunately, many people feel that they should just ‘get on with’ the menopause, with some never talking to their friends or family about it. People can come along and just listen, or join in the discussions, hopefully leaving with a clearer sense of the impact of the menopause on those who are experiencing it, alongside their families, friends and colleagues.” Rachel Weiss
