Research Hub poster competition winners

Thanks to everyone who took part and congratulations to our four winners!

Last term, we invited staff and students to enter a competition to design posters for Solent University’s research areas, centres and groups.

The posters were displayed at the June preview event for our new Research Hub at East Park Terrace, with live voting from the 100+ attendees.

We received a fantastic 50 entries from 16 entrants, which meant some tough decision-making! Winning posters were selected based on votes cast at the event, how well the poster communicated the area/centre/group identity and on aesthetic appeal.

Congratulations to the following creators who will receive a £100 voucher for each winning poster. An example of some of their wonderful designs can be seen below.

  • James Hamstead
  • India Lawton
  • Poppy Wilson-Smith
  • Zoe Toseland

Many thanks to all who took the time to enter. All the winning posters will be on display in the Research Hub – come on in and have a look!
