Save money with our reusable cup scheme

1 February 2024

Save 25p every time you buy a drink when you get involved in Solent's new reusable cup scheme

From Monday 5 February 2024, Solent students and staff are invited to take part in a reusable cup scheme to help save money.

All you have to do is buy a token for £3.95 via the Everyday app and collect it from the C-Store in the Andrews concourse.

You can use your cup at any of the catering outlets on campus that offer hot drinks, including East Park Deli and The Dock.

Want to give it a go but have a question? Check out our FAQ's below.

How do I use my token when purchasing a drink?

If you are ordering a beverage via the app, select the reusable cup option when placing your order. When you go to collect your drink, take your token with you to show staff.

Please note, every time you order a drink with a reusable cup, you need to present your token.

What drink can I buy?

Any small or medium-sized hot drink.

What do I do with my empty cup?

You can return your empty cup to any staffed outlet and they will either exchange it for a clean one, or another token.

What happens if I lose my reusable cup token?

Unfortunately, you will need to buy a new one.

Can I opt out?

The reusable cup token is non-refundable - once you have paid for it, it is yours.

Can I still collect coffee points?

Yes, you are still able to collect coffee points.

How long is my token valid for?

Reusable cup tokens are valid until 31 July 2025.
