End of year results

Find out when your results will be published

17th June 2024

Students, your end of year results will be released this week, on the dates shown below:

L6, and L7 - Wednesday 19 June 2024

L3, L4 and L5 - Thursday 20 June 2024

You will receive an email summarising your results but please log onto Gateway for a full breakdown and further information.


If you need to re-sit an assignment, the submission date can be located on the relevant re-sit assessment brief. This will be located on the SOL unit page. Most re-sit assessments will be due on Wednesday 3 July 2024.

If you need to re-sit an exam, this will be held the week commencing Monday 1 July 2024.

All exams included on the timetable will be taking place in RM414a/b (Reginald Mitchell building). Please pay close attention to the day and time that your exams will be taking place.

If you are required to resit an exam and you are also entitled to additional support, a separate email will follow by Friday 21 June. Students with trailing units will also receive a separate email with their exam details.

If you have any questions about your results, please contact If you feel that something needs correcting on your results please submit an academic appeal, these are normally expected to be submitted within 10 working days of your results release date.

  • The Student Hub are here to support you and can help you decide whether you need to submit a formal appeal or help answer questions you have about Extenuating Circumstances for resit work.
  • The Students' Union advice service offers free, confidential and impartial advice from the Union’s academic case worker. The academic case worker will also offer you support in any meetings with the University.
  • The student achievement team have put together a jargon buster to help you understand the formal wording used in your results - find it on their SOL page. The team are also here to support you through your results.
