Exciting news: Solent Careers Online is now live

This upgraded platform, which replaces Solent Futures Online, is now available to support your career development with improved features and lots of new tools.

The new platform offers a wide range of resources to support you at every stage of your career development. You can find tools to help you create a standout CV, prepare for job interviews, and book appointments for personalised career guidance. Whether you're looking to start your own business or gain relevant work experience, this platform has everything you need. It's designed to help whether you're just beginning your career journey or looking to take the next step. You can access the platform via the Careers pages on the Student Portal.

Key Features:

• Campus Jobs & enhanced job board: Apply for roles on campus, locally or nationally and includes part-time work, placements, graduate roles and volunteering opportunities. This easy-to-use job board helps you find exactly what you are looking for.

• Improved Tools: Enhanced tools to assess your CV and cover letter against the role you are applying for.

• Booking appointments: The one place for booking appointments with our Employability advisers, Careers advisers or Start up Business advisers.

• Career Resources: An extensive library of guides, videos, and articles to help you at every stage of your career.

• Pathways: Individual short courses including Future Me and gaining part time work. These self-guided courses are well worth checking out!

If you were using CV360, Interview 360, or Living CV on the old Solent Futures Online system, please note that your previous materials have not been transferred to the new platform. If you have not already done so, ensure you’ve downloaded any important documents you need from the old system.

Now that Solent Careers Online is live, we encourage you to explore the new tools and resources available. The old system will shortly be no longer accessible, but the Solent Careers team is here to help with any questions or support you might need during this transition.
