A huge range of activities will be taking place across the city to celebrate the Year of the Snake.
On Saturday 1 February, the Chinese Association of Southampton, in collaboration with other partners, will be bringing the magic of Chinese traditions to life with a vibrant celebration that includes free activities and performances for all ages. Find out more here.
On Saturday 8 February Southampton will be hosting events across the city to celebrate the Year of the Snake.
From 12pm, Guildhall Square will play host to a range of activities, games, wellbeing workshops and traditional performances, including lion dances and a dragon parade. Learn more here.
Then from 3pm, head to MAST Mayflower Studios for Chinese New Year Celebration Extravaganza Live to experience an exciting line-up of martial arts demonstrations, singing, contemporary dance, Beijing Opera and more. Find out more here.
