Mental health and wellbeing survey

Solent Students' Union and the University's therapy and mental health team are collaborating to gather anonymous data on the mental health wellbeing of our students, to help inform and shape our mental health support provision for our student community.

We have developed a survey which will enable the University and the SU to understand the trends within the mental health and wellbeing of our students - including the early signs of changes in this - enabling us to inform, develop and adopt a model of prevention, early intervention and targeted proactive support provision for our students and subgroups of students.

To facilitate this, we are adopting the most recent tools and techniques of Artificial Intelligence (AI) developed by the AI unit here at Solent University, which will inform our decision making and development of proactive support. Essentially, we’re trying to work out how to support you better and earlier!
