The MySolent app has been refreshed

Over the past few months, the University has been refreshing and updating the MySolent app, to help enhance the user experience.

We’ve been using student feedback from our annual Welcome Week competition, the survey we ran back in October, usage and tile click stats from the 2024/25 year, student focus group feedback and user testing.

The app now has a fresh, simple and user-friendly design, and we’ve streamlined the content to ensure the app isn’t too cluttered. We’ve also sorted out some of the technical problems that you said hindered you using the app.

And you’ll notice we’ve added ASK LUNA, our AI chatbot – don’t forget to ask if you need help!

If you can’t see the new version of the app yet, you may just need to close the app fully and re-open it again.

We'll be closely monitoring our stats and listening to your feedback over the next few months, and making small updates along the way.
