The National Student Survey (NSS) is now open

2 February 2026

If you're a third-year student, this is your chance to tell us about your university experience and help shape the future of Solent.

The National Student Survey (NSS) is an independent survey, conducted by market research specialists Ipsos MORI, which is sent to students in their final year of study across the UK to ask them about their course experience.

The results of the NSS are published nationally and will help future students decide where to study.

They also help us to improve the student experience at Solent going forward.

The survey is anonymous and takes less than five minutes to complete.

Everyone who takes part will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win one of ten £100 Amazon vouchers.

Complete the survey now >

Please note - It is completely up to you if and how you complete the NSS. You should not be influenced in any way by staff or fellow students.

Ipsos MORI will also be contacting students who have not yet completed the survey, by phone, email and text.

The survey closes on Thursday 30 April 2026.
