Solent Learning, Teaching and Research Conference - call for contributions

The Solent Learning, Teaching and Research Conference (SLTRC) 2026 will take place on Tuesday 23 June.

This year’s theme is: “How we teach: Exploring Practice-Led Higher Education.”

Through an engaging keynote speaker, interactive workshops, inspiring presentations and a dynamic exhibition, we’ll explore how practice-led approaches spark meaningful learning experiences and empower students to thrive; both within and beyond the classroom.

Submissions are now open!

We're interested to hear how your practice is making or will make a difference to the diverse communities of students or staff at Solent University. We offer two routes for presenting: a poster presentation that will be part of the poster exhibition, available throughout the day; or a 15-minute full presentation with sessions taking place both morning and afternoon.

Whether you're sharing new ideas or established practice, this is a chance to connect with others, gain feedback and contribute to practice-led learning across the University.

Full details and submission guidelines can be found on our website.
