Solent Supports Sable’s International Soccer Tournament in South Africa

Sable International is one of Solent’s key strategic partners in South Africa and this was the first of many planned Soccer International tournaments.

Over 100 students and 12 coaches from three nations attended, including teams from some of the UK’s top Sports universities such as, Loughborough, Nottingham Trent and Portsmouth.

The tournament served as a fantastic opportunity for Solent Sports to highlight our course portfolio and raise our brand profile by engaging with the wider Sable team, as well as providing students with several industry-based football coaching sessions. 

We're delighted that Solent Sports awarded the star player of the tournament with a signed Saints ball, which was provided to us by our partners at Southampton Saints.

Chris says that "the coaching enabled us to engage with student players at a more personal level whilst demonstrating some of our Solent football course content. The event was deemed to be a success by students, parents, coaches and representatives from the Universities that participated." 

Solent is looking forward to continuing to support our international agents and partners as we work at fostering tighter relationships across our strategic markets. Engaging in activities such as these not only bring visibility to Solent, but also brings attention to our connections with industry.
