Southampton City Council has advised of major overnight roadworks on Charlotte Place roundabout early in the new year.

Works are planned to take place between Monday 5 January - Friday 27 February 2026.

Although these works are planned to take place overnight between 8pm and 6am, there is the possibility of restrictions or lane closures on surrounding roads leading to the roundabout, including St. Andrews Road, throughout the period.

Staff and students are advised to check local reports and plan their journeys to and from the University accordingly.
