Accommodation fees

Here you'll find all the information you'll need about your accommodation fees - how to pay and what they include.

If you have any questions, please contact the Income Team: income.team@solent.ac.uk

Payment is made by using credit/debit card details.

When you accepted your offer of accommodation you would have selected your method of payment - you can see your method of payment by viewing your accommodation room offer on your accommodation online account and going to the instalments section. If you are in any doubt, please contact the Income Team: income.team@solent.ac.uk.

How much you pay will depend on what room you're in and the length of the contract.

UK students pay accommodation fees in three instalments - normally in October, January and April/May. To see the payment dates you chose when you accepted your room offer, go to your accommodation online account and view your room offer, then the instalments section.

However, if you prefer to get it out of the way, you can pay all your fees in one go before you arrive or when you move in. You should contact the Income Team by emailing income.team@solent.ac.uk to arrange this.

Please note: All international students must pay their accommodation fees in full before they move into their room.

Separate arrangements are made for merchant navy students which is available at the time you accept your room offer or by contacting the Income Team.

Yes. If you tell us early enough before an instalment is due to be taken, then we can change the payment details you have given us.  To do this please use the link below:
