Campus cards

Your campus card is an important document! Every student is issued with a ‘smart’ campus card. Please keep your card with you at all times.

Your campus card will allow you access to campus buildings, borrow books from the library, access printing and photocopying services, and access the Solent Gym if you have paid for membership.

As a new student you will be issued with a card after you have completed our enrolment process; the card is intended to last for the duration of your course.

New students who are fully enrolled but have not yet obtained their card will still be able to remove books from the library for the first two weeks of teaching.

If you are a continuing student and return to studies without your card then you should apply for a replacement as soon as possible.

Without a campus card you will not be able to take books out of the library.

Students who have lost their cards may get a replacement card at a cost of £5. You will need to access the online store to pay.

If your current card is defective there will be no charge, however, you must return your old card to the Student Hub in TS114.

You will be issued with a campus card when you first enrol as a student with the University. This will be valid for the duration of your course. If you have any problems with it, you should go to the Student Hub in TS114.
