We are introducing a new timetabling system called TimeEdit in January 2027. It will replace CMIS, which has been used for many years and is no longer the best option for the University. TimeEdit will make timetable information clearer, more reliable and give students a better overall user experience.
The system used to view your timetable information is changing. From January 2027 students will access timetable information through the new timetabling system. Guidance closer to the time will explain exactly where to go, what you will see, and how to use the new timetable view.
This change is about how timetable information is viewed and accessed. It does not mean your course or teaching is changing because of the new timetable system. Your teaching sessions will continue to be planned and communicated through the University’s timetable processes.
