The University management of student debt is determined by the following terms and conditions which students sign up to each year when they register for their course:
Student debtor policy
University fee regulations - home student
University fee regulations - overseas students
Accommodation terms of residency
Solent University tuition fees are due immediately or in instalments on a University payment plan.
Please refer to the payment plan page for further details.
Sanctions may be applied. Students will be notified that sanctions will be applied.
Failure to pay the outstanding amount may result in the withdrawal from your course.
Outstanding debts are referred to a debt collection agency who will instigate legal action where necessary.
Initially, students will receive a warning notice.
If the debt remains unpaid, the debt will be passed to a debt collection agency and legal action will be taken where necessary.
The University reserves the right to carry out appropriate eviction procedures.
